Nottinghamshire has officially promoted Michael Temple to the permanent role of chief executive following a period serving in the position on an interim basis. Temple brings sixteen seasons of prior involvement at the venue to his new full-time assignment, having previously acted as commercial director since returning in 2018 as well as holding past operational posts with Glamorgan and London Stadium.
He steps into the ongoing vacancy created by Richard Kenyon, who departed the county for Lancashire after a tenure lasting under a year following the departure of Lisa Pursehouse.
Looking ahead, Temple faces a busy operational calendar featuring both ongoing pavilion construction work at the ground and preparations to host concurrent men and women bilateral Ashes series in 2027. Club chairman Andy Hunt praised the new chief executive for demonstrating steady leadership and dedication to the membership and fan base.
In his own remarks, Temple expressed pride in taking charge of a group dedicated to securing a successful future for the organisation.
