NFL Week 1 expert picks, score predictions: Saints at Lions

The 2026 NFL regular season gets underway as the Detroit Lions host the New Orleans Saints at Ford Field, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET. Dan Campbell's Lions are aiming to rebound on their home turf after concluding their previous campaign at 9-8 and falling short of the postseason.

Meanwhile, the visiting Saints enter the contest drawing confidence from a past run of opening-week victories, a favorable outlook for wide receiver Chris Olave, and the presence of a healthy Chase Young.
