NFL Thursday Night Football preview: Panthers and Packers try to rebound from frustrating losses

The Green Bay Packers and Carolina Panthers meet this Thursday following contrasting defeats. Green Bay fell 20-17 to the Lions in a game marred by officiating complaints and a missed field goal, while Carolina suffered a lopsided 43-13 loss to the Buccaneers after trailing 33-6 at halftime.

The Packers look to integrate running back Josh Jacobs more effectively after his return, while the Panthers aim to recover from a defensive collapse that saw them surrender 258 rushing yards last week. Green Bay faces pressure to keep pace in a competitive NFC North, whereas Carolina hopes to maintain relevance within the NFC South.
