NFL reviewing incident between official and Cardinals' Trey McBride, NFLPA issues statement

League authorities are investigating an exchange between an on-field referee and Cardinals pass-catcher Trey McBride stemming from a Sunday matchup with the New York Giants. Television footage captured the referee seemingly directing a curse word at the player after a disputed third-down non-call.

Players Association president JC Tretter publicly condemned the interaction, demanding that the organization hold its officiating crew to the identical accountability standards applied to athletes.
