NFL predictions: Las Vegas Raiders-New England Patriots gear up for early-season AFC Wild Card battle

The Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots are emerging as early-season dark horses in the AFC playoff race, setting up a high-stakes Week 5 showdown with major postseason implications. The Raiders, boasting a 3-1 record and holding the second AFC Wild Card spot, face a Patriots team that, despite a Super Bowl appearance last year, is clinging to the seventh seed by virtue of tiebreakers over four other 2-2 teams in the conference.

The matchup carries added intrigue with the Raiders battling their first 10:00 a.m. start of the season, while the Patriots contend with key injuries that have limited their form in three of their last four games.

Meanwhile, the Silver and Black Pride Pick’em competition adds another layer of excitement, with early leaders like TV Raider and Chattanooga Benny already making their mark in the standings.
