NFL opens review after CBS cameras catch referee screaming profanity at Trey McBride

During the Arizona Cardinals matchup against the New York Giants, line judge Jeff Seeman was recorded by broadcast equipment directing verbal abuse toward tight end Trey McBride. The player reacted to the incident with amusement after noticing the recording device.

Following the broadcast, NFLPA leader JC Tretter publicly demanded that the league address the conduct of the official. The NFL has since confirmed that an investigation into the interaction is currently underway.
