NFL international games schedule: Where, what teams, how many games

The 2026 NFL season features an unprecedented nine games scheduled outside the United States, according to league plans highlighted by Commissioner Roger Goodell's long-term target of reaching sixteen annual overseas contests. The international slate kicks off during the first week of September with a matchup in Melbourne where the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Los Angeles Rams twenty-seven to seven.

Action continues in October with a three-game London series at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium involving teams such as the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Philadelphia Eagles, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans. Further overseas matchups are scheduled later in the autumn across European and North American cities including Paris, Madrid, Munich, and Mexico City.
