New Zealand women name 15-member squad for Australia T20I series; Eden Carson returns

New Zealand has finalized a fifteen-player roster for an upcoming three-game Twenty20 International series against Australia, which begins on October 18. Amelia Kerr is scheduled to captain the team, carrying forward eleven athletes from the recent T20 World Cup 2026 group.

Four competitors are making their way back into the lineup, including off-spinner Eden Carson after recovering from elbow surgery in December. Molly Penfold and Hannah Rowe join to reinforce the fast bowling unit, while Bella James enters to add depth to the batting order.
