New York Jets News: Jason Sanders Named Starter, God Help Us All

The New York Jets will be missing several key contributors for Sunday's home opener against Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers' dangerous aerial attack. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed on Friday that safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has been sidelined due to a groin problem sustained just six snaps into the defense's performance during their victory over Tennessee.

Fitzpatrick is not the only player unable to suit up for the upcoming clash. Edge defender Joseph Ossai is sidelined with a foot ailment, while first-year wideout Omar Cooper Jr.

will miss out because of an ankle issue. Additionally, running back and return specialist Kene Nwangwu has been sidelined by a back condition.
