New-look Chargers offense sputters in mistake-filled loss to Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals delivered a stunning Week 1 upset on Sunday, defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 26-14 at SoFi Stadium. 5-point favorites—the largest spread across the NFL for the week—Jim Harbaugh's squad trailed throughout the entire contest.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett guided the Cardinals' attack by passing for 277 yards and a touchdown, while defender Zaven Collins made a key stop by shoving Chargers passer Justin Herbert out of bounds before the goal line.
