Netcompany Ineos has expanded its 2027 roster with the signing of American rider Riley Sheehan, marking the seventh new addition to the squad. The 26-year-old joins from NSN on a two-year contract, bringing three professional victories, including Paris-Tours in 2023 and wins at the Circuit de Wallonie and a stage of the Czech Tour this season.
His arrival strengthens the team’s Classics capabilities while adding versatility to the lineup, as he can excel across different terrains. Sheehan, who previously contributed to the USA’s World Championship-winning team alongside Brandon McNulty, expressed excitement about joining a team he has admired since his early career.
The move follows the departures of key riders like Filippo Ganna and three other American-based cyclists, reshaping the team’s composition ahead of next year’s campaign. With 20 riders now confirmed, Netcompany Ineos continues to rebuild its squad under the leadership of Director of Racing Geraint Thomas, aiming to restore its competitive edge on the WorldTour.
