Nebraska Football is 5-0 and Cynicism Still Has a Seat — The Morning After

Nebraska advanced to an undefeated 5-0 record for the initial time in a decade following a convincing twenty-five point victory over Maryland. Despite early struggles and an early deficit driven by Maryland field goals, Rob Aurich's defensive unit turned the tide behind an interception from Kade Pietrzak and a pick-six by Dwayne McDougle.

Quarterback Anthony Colandrea overcame a rushed start and missed connections to post a career-high one hundred and eight rushing yards, while target Kwazi Gilmer hauled in eleven catches for one hundred and forty-seven yards and a pair of scores to help seal the dominant outcome against Mike Locksley's squad.
