Nebraska returns home for a matchup against Maryland during their homecoming weekend following a recent road trip. Head coach Matt Rhule referenced a past heavy defeat to Indiana and subsequent narrow loss to Ohio State while emphasizing that previous outcomes will not impact the upcoming contest.

Meanwhile, Maryland enters the game after suffering a significant defeat against UCLA. Defensive coordinator Rob Aurich aims to pressure opposing quarterback Malik Washington, who has faced multiple sacks this season following a difficult performance against the Bruins.

The game will take place at Memorial Stadium with kickoff scheduled for three in the afternoon central time on Saturday.
