Following a decisive Game 5 victory against the Tampa Bay Rays, the Milwaukee Brewers are celebrating their first World Series title in franchise history. To mark the occasion, the city will host a public parade and rally this Friday, leading to the closure of all Milwaukee Public Schools and district offices.
The festivities begin at 10 a.m. CT at the intersection of North 4th Street and West Wisconsin Avenue, eventually moving to Henry Maier Festival Park for a fan festival.
This event includes live music, merchandise, and a screening of a documentary about Bob Uecker. Fans unable to attend can view the proceedings through various MLB digital platforms and the team website.
This championship ends a 44-year wait for the organization, which previously appeared in the Fall Classic only once in 1982.
