Michigan State Spartans Football report card through four games

Michigan State has completed its first four games of the season, holding a two and two record following a recent loss to Nebraska at home. Head coach Pat Fitzgerald evaluated the team's position groups, starting with quarterback Alessio Milivojevic, who has recorded three touchdowns and fourteen sacks while struggling with pocket awareness.

Backup quarterback Cam Fancher was briefly inserted into the offense against Nebraska but threw an interception and took a sack during his appearance.
