Michigan Mailbag: Can Michigan get the run game going against Penn State?

Michigan prepares to host Penn State at 3:30 p.m. on CBS following a bye week, with both programs struggling under first-year leadership.

The Wolverines aim to improve their struggling ground game, which currently averages 135 yards per contest, against a Nittany Lions defense that surrenders 165.8 rushing yards on average. Offensive coordinator Jason Beck faces pressure to better utilize Bryce Underwood, Jordan Marshall, and Savion Hiter to spark the offense and curb turnovers.

Meanwhile, the program deals with internal friction, including reports of players questioning the offensive scheme and recent roster changes via the transfer portal.
