The University of Michigan football squad dropped a road contest to Minnesota with a final tally of 20-14 on Saturday, October 3. A sequence of three consecutive turnovers during the second half doomed the visiting squad at Huntington Bank Stadium and snapped a lengthy streak for the home side.
Nathaniel Staehling provided a defensive highlight for the victors with an interception returned for a touchdown before intermission. Quarterback Bryce Underwood struggled through the air, completing ten of twenty-one pass attempts for 101 yards alongside a pair of interceptions, while Darius Taylor added a score early in the final quarter.
The defeat dropped the Wolverines to a 3-2 overall record and an 0-2 mark inside the conference before an upcoming week off ahead of hosting Penn State.
