Matthew Tkachuk scores, Brad Marchand injured in Panthers' 2-1 win over Kings

The Florida Panthers secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night, ending their season-opening road trip with a win despite a significant setback. The game saw Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk deliver a crucial goal, while veteran Brad Marchand suffered a left leg injury in the second period after contact with Kings defenseman Brandt Clarke.

Marchand, a key offensive presence, was forced off the ice and will miss time as the Panthers look to stabilize their lineup and improve their special teams play against a high-scoring Kings squad. The win marks a positive start to their season-opening road trip, though the injury adds to a growing list of concerns for the team’s depth and consistency.
