Maryland football news: Locksley confident post 51-point UCLA loss

Following a severe 54-3 defeat to the UCLA Bruins at SECU Stadium, Maryland head coach Mike Locksley expressed determination to right the ship alongside his coaching staff. The disappointing Week 4 outcome featured a sluggish performance from quarterback Malik Washington, who recorded four interceptions and no touchdowns, alongside a quiet outing for tight end Dorian Fleming.

Locksley indicated he plans to meet with athletic director Jim Smith to address the team's struggles before preparing for an upcoming road matchup against Nebraska at Memorial Stadium.
