Marcus Stokes moves up one spot in CBS Sports’ QB power rankings

David Cobb adjusted his weekly list to elevate Marcus Stokes into the thirty-ninth position despite the signal-caller taking a bye week. The athlete initially fought for the starting job against Air Noland before Charles Huff withheld the designation until kickoff, though the passer has since accumulated 1,053 passing yards, nine scoring tosses, and three interceptions across four appearances.

Following turnover struggles against Arkansas State and Boise State, the player rebounded by throwing four touchdowns against UT Martin prior to being benched in the second half. Ahead of an upcoming road contest against the 49ers that was rescheduled to an earlier morning time slot due to weather forecasts, Stokes remains the highest-rated representative from the American conference in the current standings.
