Lynx’s Cheryl Reeve keeps it cryptic on Napheesa Collier’s looming free agency

Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve recently offered cautious remarks regarding the upcoming free agency status of star player Napheesa Collier, acknowledging that athletes sometimes seek new opportunities elsewhere. Collier, who recently completed her eighth professional season and turns thirty years old, signed a short-term agreement that places her on track for an impending departure from the franchise.

Meanwhile, the team itself is coming off a dominant regular season campaign where they claimed thirty-three victories against eleven losses to capture the top seed in the Western Conference. Despite that success, their postseason run ended abruptly following a first-round elimination at the hands of the New York Liberty after consecutive losses.
