Lions, Cardinals final injury report: Brian Branch officially OUT vs. Arizona
The Detroit Lions entered Sunday’s matchup against the Arizona Cardinals with key absences, most notably the loss of safety Brian Branch, who will miss the game after aggravating an Achilles injury. Branch’s return timeline remains uncertain, though coach Dan Campbell indicated the Lions are targeting his return for the Week 7 game against the Green Bay Packers, with both Branch and center Cade Mays expected to stay in Detroit during the bye week to focus on recovery.
The Lions also confirmed that guard Ben Bartch and cornerback Rock Ya-Sin will sit out, while defensive tackle Tyleik Williams, listed as questionable, downplayed his foot injury as minor and expressed optimism about playing. Meanwhile, the Cardinals’ injury report did not reveal any significant changes, leaving their lineup intact for the contest.
