Lincoln Riley Has Turned USC Into College Football’s Biggest Pretender

USC suffered another disappointing defeat under head coach Lincoln Riley, falling 41-27 at home to Oregon on Saturday. Despite the Ducks losing starting quarterback Dante Moore in the second quarter, backup Dylan Raiola dismantled the Trojan defense by completing 19 of 25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns to secure a convincing victory.

Oregon piled up 504 total yards and converted four of five possessions in the second half into touchdowns. Now in his fifth season with USC and equipped with elite recruiting and defensive coordinator Gary Patterson, Riley holds a dismal 5-15 record against AP Top 25 opponents.
