Lancashire has secured the future of teenage pace prospect George Brown, handing the 18-year-old his inaugural professional deal. The agreement, which takes effect in November 2026, keeps the right-arm bowler at the club through the conclusion of the 2028 campaign.
Brown climbed through the county's youth ranks and academy system before making an impact in Second XI fixtures and T20 matches this year. Head coach Steven Croft praised the youngster's development and potential, noting that the Leigh CC player has earned his spot within the professional squad.
Brown, who previously represented the North of England in the 2025 Super 4s, expressed his enthusiasm for learning alongside the senior group.
