Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter confirmed that quarterback Lamar Jackson is expected to return for the upcoming Week 8 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Jackson has been sidelined since sustaining an ankle injury during a Week 4 victory over the Tennessee Titans, a period during which Tyler Huntley started three games and secured a 1-2 record.
The Ravens currently hold a 4-3 record and sit at the bottom of the AFC North following consecutive losses to the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals. Jackson emphasized that the team feels a heightened sense of urgency to improve across all three phases of the game.
Before his injury, the two-time MVP had maintained a 119.6 passer rating while contributing 967 passing yards and 144 rushing yards. The offense continues to rely on Derrick Henry, who leads the league in carries despite averaging a career-low 3.9 yards per attempt.
