Ladd McConkey, Rashawn Slater leads Chargers offense in Week 1 PFF grades

Despite falling to the Arizona Cardinals in their season opener at SoFi Stadium, the Los Angeles Chargers saw offensive tackle Rashawn Slater and wide receiver Ladd McConkey earn top marks in Pro Football Focus grades for Week 1. McConkey provided a highlight during the contest by hauling in a touchdown catch prior to exiting the field.

The rookie wideout's departure came during the third quarter following a severe collision over the middle that caused chest and rib issues. Head coach Jim Harbaugh and the team currently consider McConkey day-to-day, leaving his availability to be evaluated as the franchise prepares for its upcoming clash against the Las Vegas Raiders.
