Long-time staffer Beat Zehnder is set to depart the Audi Formula 1 project once the 2026 campaign concludes. Having been involved with the Hinwil-based organization since before its 1993 entry into top-tier racing, the 60-year-old Swiss veteran held various positions ranging from mechanic to team manager.
His tenure included a streak of 601 consecutive race appearances and spanned the ownership eras of Peter Sauber and Longbow Finance. Following a recent shift in internal structure, Audi confirmed his exit and expressed gratitude for his nearly four decades of contributions to the team.
