Key MLB offseason dates: When does free agency start? What else will happen before potential lockout?

The Milwaukee Brewers have secured their inaugural World Series title by defeating the Tampa Bay Rays, marking the end of the 2026 campaign. With the season concluded, the league enters a transition period that includes the start of free agency on October 29 and the announcement of Gold Glove recipients on November 1.
