The Kaukauna girls golf squad has secured a spot in the WIAA Division 1 state championship for the eighth time in school history. Led by coaches Andy and Pete Benson, the team qualified by placing second at the Green Bay Notre Dame Sectional with a total of 338, following earlier victories at the Luxemburg-Casco Regional and the Fox Valley Association tournament.

The state competition is scheduled for October 12-13. During the sectional round, Sawyer Olson and Clara Schomin each carded an 84, while Emily Thoreson and Lauren Gustman both recorded an 85.

Ranked seventh in the state, the team is preparing to navigate the difficult course layout at the upcoming tournament.
