Jorge Martin, currently leading the MotoGP championship by two points, feels prepared for the upcoming Australian Grand Prix. Despite a podium finish in Indonesia, where he and Marc Marquez earned identical points, Martin believes he is fast enough to challenge for a win after overcoming tyre pressure problems in the sprint race.
Marquez, a four-time victor at Phillip Island, will face Martin, who has never ridden an RS-GP at this circuit. While Aprilia previously won both races here with Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi, Martin aims to be strategic and secure points, especially with rain predicted.
Bezzecchi currently sits third in the standings, trailing Martin by 46 points with five events remaining.
