Former UFC champion Jon Jones has indicated that while he likely will not compete in professional mixed martial arts again, he remains enrolled in the organization's mandatory drug-testing program. The 39-year-old athlete has undergone four screenings throughout 2026, keeping his options open for a potential return to the cage.
Jones, who holds the record as the youngest fighter to secure a UFC title, last competed at UFC 309 where he successfully defended his heavyweight belt against Stipe Miocic. Outside of his training status, the veteran fighter has recently engaged in a public social media dispute with Colby Covington regarding his mentorship of prospect Gable Steveson.
