John Harbaugh expects Jameis Winston to remain QB1 no matter who Giants add at the position

Jameis Winston secured his first victory as a starter since December 15, 2024, guiding his squad to a 12-7 triumph over the winless Titans despite managing only 119 passing yards in unfavorable weather conditions. Filling in for Jaxson Dart, who suffered a season-ending knee injury, Winston avoided turning the ball over while operating a conservative offensive scheme.

Following the contest, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed that Winston will retain the primary role under center regardless of any additions the organization makes at the position during the week. While Jake Haener backed up Winston against Tennessee and management evaluates available veterans such as Jimmy Garoppolo, Gardner Minshew, and J.J.

McCarthy, offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemunor expressed full confidence in moving forward with Winston for the remainder of the campaign.
