Joey Porter Jr. expected to play for Cowboys in Week 4 after missing start of season with back injury

Cornerback Joey Porter Jr. is on track to make his debut for the Dallas Cowboys during their fourth week of the season.

Following an offseason contract dispute and a back injury that kept him sidelined through the first three weeks of the year, Porter was recently acquired via a trade from Pittsburgh in exchange for a pair of draft choices.

While he will be active for the upcoming matchup against Houston, his playing time will be strictly monitored. Team sources estimate he will see roughly thirty snaps depending on how the game unfolds as he works his way back into game shape.
