Jim Mora's coaching staff had a significant, and bizarre, mid-game change

During a challenging matchup against Oregon State, Colorado State head coach Jim Mora altered defensive assignments by removing Tyson Summers from play-calling responsibilities after two opening scoring drives. Rather than accepting the reassignment, Summers chose to walk away from the team permanently, prompting Mora to elevate Kenny McClendon to direct the defense for the remainder of the contest.

Although the defensive unit immediately forced a turnover that helped level the score, Oregon State eventually pulled away to secure a 56-26 victory.
