During Sunday's 31-24 defeat against the Detroit Lions, the New York Jets suffered significant injury concerns when running back Breece Hall exited the contest during the final quarter. Hall sustained a thigh injury near the goal line following a tackle by Trevor Nowaske, finishing his afternoon with 32 rushing yards and 23 receiving yards.
Adding to the offensive troubles, wide receiver Garrett Wilson also exited on the final drive after absorbing a heavy hit from a pair of defenders. Quarterback Geno Smith threw for 321 yards and three touchdowns in the losing effort, while Jared Goff led the Lions with 269 passing yards and two scores as his team improved to 2-1 on the season.
