Jeremiyah Love finds the end zone

Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love quickly made his mark at the professional level during Sunday's regular-season kickoff. Selected third overall in the draft out of Notre Dame, the first-year back crossed the goal line on an early 5-yard rush to hand Arizona an initial 7-0 advantage against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Cardinals went on to secure a 26-14 win, with Love tallying 41 rushing yards on 11 attempts alongside two receptions for nine yards.

Love's active status and immediate impact provided welcome relief following weeks of medical questions. After shining in training camp and his exhibition debut, he sustained a high-ankle sprain against the Las Vegas Raiders on August 13, creating uncertainty about his availability heading into Week 1 before he was ultimately cleared to play.
