Indian batter Jemimah Rodrigues has successfully wrapped up a three-month rehabilitation period after suffering a severe right hamstring injury. She sustained the issue on August 3 while representing the Southern Brave during a match against the Welsh Fire in The Hundred, finishing her stint with 143 runs across six innings and earning two Player-of-the-Match awards.
The medical setback forced the right-hander to sit out multiple major assignments, including the Women's Asia Cup, the Asian Games, and a white-ball series against Zimbabwe.
Rodrigues announced her recovery on social media, expressing her eagerness to resume playing after the BCCI confirmed the high-grade tear months prior. With her rehabilitation now officially behind her, the experienced batter could potentially return to international contention in December for India's upcoming multi-format tour of South Africa.
