Jalen Brunson ready to go after ‘painful’ injury he didn’t let derail Knicks’ title hopes

New York star Jalen Brunson addressed reporters at the team's training facility without any supportive gear on his left wrist, confirming he is fully cleared for training camp. The guard previously underwent surgery to address a tendon problem in that area after battling through the physical hurdle during the final stretch of the postseason run to capture Finals MVP honors.

Despite spending much of the summer recovering in a cast, the team captain noted that he did not realize the full extent of the issue at the time and simply pushed through the discomfort to chase a championship. He also remarked that the rehabilitation process taught him valuable lessons regarding patience.
