Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs reached a career milestone during Sunday's 45-24 victory against the Arizona Cardinals, surpassing Barry Sanders for the most touchdowns scored by a player before turning 25. With 58 career scores now to his name, Gibbs has set his sights on LaDainian Tomlinson's single-season record of 31 touchdowns.
Having already recorded nine scores through the first five games of the season, the running back confirmed his intent to chase that historic mark. The Lions continue to rely heavily on the playmaker, who currently leads the NFL with 132 total touches.
