J.J. McCarthy: Trade to Giants was a shock and an opportunity

Following a surprising mid-week trade from Minnesota, quarterback J.J. McCarthy expressed excitement about his fresh start with New York.

The Giants brought in the 2024 first-round draft pick to navigate the remainder of the campaign following an injury to Jaxson Dart. While team leadership has not yet announced if McCarthy will serve as Jameis Winston's primary backup for Sunday's matchup against the Cardinals, the signal-caller is eager to seize his new opportunity.
