It’s Time To Admit This About Deion Sanders

Questions are mounting regarding the coaching leadership of Deion Sanders at Colorado as the program struggles through its fourth year. Following a 41-7 defeat to Northwestern and a subsequent 23-13 loss at Baylor, the Buffaloes sit at a two-and-two record after scoring an average of just 21.5 points per contest.

While Sanders successfully revitalized interest and brought high-profile talent to Boulder after taking over a one-win squad, ongoing inconsistencies and heavy roster turnover have hindered sustained success. After peaking with nine victories during the 2024 campaign, the team stumbled to three wins last year and has now dropped eleven of its past sixteen contests.
