Iowa football QB Hank Brown named to Davey O'Brien Award Great 8 List

Following a dramatic one-point triumph over Michigan, fourth-year signal caller Hank Brown earned a spot on the Davey O'Brien Award Great 8 List after throwing for 227 yards and two scores, including a clutch 16-yard game-winning strike to Reece Vander Zee. That performance also placed him on the midseason watch list for the 2026 national trophy, with the weekly winner scheduled to be announced soon.

Brown has guided his squad to an undefeated four-game start while completing 68 percent of his passes for 700 yards and five touchdowns. The team prepares to host Ohio State in an upcoming matchup that will draw a television broadcast and a major pregame show to campus.
