Iowa Football Finally Has a Quarterback, And That Should Terrify the Rest of the Big Ten

Iowa supporters have long endured jokes regarding their inept offense, but the arrival of quarterback Hank Brown has completely transformed the Hawkeyes into a dangerous squad. Following a pair of underwhelming campaigns at Auburn and high school stints that included playing for Trent Dilfer, the signal-caller has unlocked a new level of play this season, highlighted by a game-winning pass against Michigan.

Now at four wins and zero losses, the surging Hawkeyes return to their home turf to host a heavily favored Ohio State team. While head coach Kirk Ferentz typically relies on homegrown prospects instead of the transfer portal, bringing in Brown has provided the exact spark needed to make the program a legitimate national threat once again.
