India secured a 2-0 lead in their five-match ODI series against New Zealand after a rain-shortened victory in Wellington. The visitors won by four runs via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method after their pace attack dismantled the hosts for 134 runs in 41 overs.
Gurnoor Brar led the bowling effort with four wickets for 30 runs, while Auqib Nabi also claimed early dismissals to stifle the New Zealand top order.
During the chase, India faced early pressure as Jacob Duffy and Kyle Jamieson reduced the side to 47-4. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul stabilized the innings, with Rahul remaining unbeaten on 26 when rain forced an early conclusion. The series is scheduled to continue in Hamilton on Tuesday.
