How Drake Maye and Caleb Williams stack up so far in their careers

As the New England Patriots prepare to play the Chicago Bears, second-year standouts Drake Maye and Caleb Williams face off once again. Both were top picks in the 2024 draft and entered the league with identical numbers of starts, though Maye has accumulated superior efficiency and rushing metrics while Williams maintains a lower turnover rate.

Following difficult rookie campaigns that saw both original coaching staffs replaced, Maye achieved a major breakthrough under Mike Vrabel by earning Pro Bowl honors and reaching a Super Bowl, whereas Williams continues to seek similar team-level achievements under Ben Johnson.
