Colorado football commit Andre Adams delivered a clutch performance for Antioch High School, leading his team to a 34-31 victory over Franklin Road Academy (FRA) in a high-stakes game decided in the final seconds. With 30 seconds remaining and his team trailing by three points, Adams engineered a dramatic comeback, first throwing a 36-yard touchdown pass to Treon Mcadoo that was overturned on a holding call.
Undeterred, he quickly found his brother, Aaden Adams, in the end zone for a 15-yard touchdown to secure the win. The victory marked a full-circle moment for Aaden, who had made the game-winning interception against FRA exactly one year prior, showcasing his growth as a player and his bond with his brother and teammate Andre.
Aaden, now stepping into a larger role as the team’s WR2, credited his senior teammate Brandon Goliday—who had 1,666 yards and 18 touchdowns last season—for pushing him to excel, with Goliday even preparing him for the WR1 role before leaving for Arkansas State. Meanwhile, Andre Adams continued his standout season, completing 23 of 33 passes for 392 yards and three touchdowns while also rushing for 67 yards and a score, solidifying his case for a return trip to the Mr.
