The organization has since moved to reinstate Rohit as captain, a decision reached after internal discussions that also involved his input on coaching staff selections. Kieron Pollard has been named the new head coach, replacing Mahela Jayawardene, while Robin Uthappa joins the support staff as the batting coach.
