Buffalo is entering a fresh era under head coach Joe Brady, who is focusing on authenticity and relationship-building, while first-year defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard implements an assertive scheme.
The defense will lean heavily on experienced captain Bradley Chubb to guide the front line as Buffalo attempts to secure its first-ever victory in Houston following previous playoff runs by both franchises.
Quarterback Josh Allen and the Bills face a daunting test after receiving worrisome news leading up to kickoff, with some observers even projecting a shutout against them. Securing a win will require improved protection for Allen alongside a reliable pass rush, particularly with Houston edge defender Will Anderson Jr.
