Fox News commentator rejects blaming Fever superstar for her fans' actions: "Caitlin Clark signed to play basketball, not supervise fans"

Kelsey Mitchell addressed facing criticism simply for playing alongside the top draft selection, while commentators debated whether the guard should police public behavior.

Fox News contributor Shemeka Michelle defended the prominent star, arguing that athletes are contracted solely to compete rather than govern spectators. Critics have previously faulted the player for delaying public statements regarding online harassment directed at opponents, though defenders maintain that a public profile does not equate to accountability for every follower.
