Florida: New Update on QB Situation Before Texas Game

Quarterback Aaron Philo is listed as limited in practice because of a shoulder problem, leaving his availability for Saturday’s clash with the No. 7 Texas Longhorns in doubt.

The injury update came from an anonymous source cited by the Associated Press, and Florida has not issued an official statement confirming his status.

First‑year head coach Jon Sumrall may have to turn to backup Tramell Jones Jr. if Philo cannot play, as the Gators head into the game after recent heavy defeats to Missouri and South Carolina and a narrow win over Ole Miss.
